Episode 89: Turning to the Japanese

Greetings honorable Advanced Squad Leader fanatics and listeners of this honorable podcast.  Yasumi-masu. With the impending release of Rising Sun, we thought we'd take a moment to peek through the bamboo and take a gander at the rules for Japanese infantry.  But first, we present some interesting letters, and take a look at FT127 In the Mouth of Madness.     Around 37 minutes in, Jeff plays a recording of the Australian National Anthem in honor of Adam Scott's Masters win. Quite a rousing rendition. The Italian Anthem has been my favorite for many years.....but the Aussie one is now a contender. My car speakers vibrated the Anthem of Oz whilst I was enjoying the benefits of 'Stopped' motion status whilst at a red light. Overcome by the dramatic tone of the melody, I went into full conductor mode. Building to the crescendo, the end had me exclaiming, "Big finish, big finish!!!" There is no way that place is as exciting as that tune.
