Dinner and a movie with your significant other is nice, but what would you say to a game of ASL and a movie? Awesome, huh? If you have a hard time selling the idea to your life mate, don't despair. You can live vicariously through us. Today we present, for your enjoyment, the classic World War II film, Sahara, starring Humphrey Bogart, followed by an after action report of an analogous desert scenario from the ASLUG, "Hart Attack".
It's date night for grognards.
Thanks. We had fun, too. No need to send flowers, though.

I'll defend poor Humphrey here - there are dedicated people in a movie crew called the continuity team who are responsible for making sure that Humphrey is holding the same tools during different takes. But I kinda get the feeling that standards were lower before the days of picky nerds (like me) quibbling on the internet. An interesting show, as always.

Dear Gang:
I forgot to comment earlier. This was a great idea, and you executed it well. If I may make a few movie suggestions...
Stalingrad (obvious)
Objective: Burma
The Desert Rats
There seem to be scenarios that mirror the action in these movies.
Sincerely,
David L.
