Episode 191: No Death Threats Please

YeeHaa! Welcome y'all.  Have ya ever wondered what is goin' on in our crazy society today?  We sure have. Fake News, Fake News accusations, rude behavior, random death threats.  We banter a bit about all that and need to talk about the greatest game in the world Advanced Squad Leader to forget about it all. There is also a quick review of the film Darkest Hour.  In the Box is a game Jeff has long sought after and finally has thanks to listener Stephen Banks and his generosity. It is Red Barricades. You can also get a sneak preview of Broken Ground Design's new and amazing counters for ASL. They are very cool.  And if you have ever wondered what would happen if you called the old Avalon Hill phone number that was included in the game boxes, you can find out by listening.

The 2 Half-Squads is sponsored by Bounding Fire Productions and RitterKrieg.

  1. Glad the packages got there alright. I guess back in the 90's the plastic was a little stronger. Happy reading Jeff!

  2. Thought I would post here, one of our fellow ASLers could use some love / help... Chas Argent.

This GoFundMe Campaign will help support Chas and Michelle Argent as they oversee the recovery of their 12-year-old son, Nicolas, who suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on January 13, 2018. The stroke was caused by a medical condition called arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which was previously undiagnosed and that presented no symptoms whatsoever until the stroke.

  3. Yes, we have tweeted out the information on the Argent Go Fund Me page, and will promote it in the next show. We are having some problems getting recording scheduled but we hope to get to it soon.
Please consider donating if you can. Thanks.
