Episode 278: Good Evening Starshells

We hope you enjoyed the lovely opening song on this episode; Good Evening Starshells.  The lyrics can be found at the bottom of this post. Are there letters? yes, there are.
There is a song by Men at Work called Down Under and it left quite an  impression on us North Americans.  Perhaps that song's influence led to the title of the newest offering from MMP.   It is Action Pack #16 From the Land Down Under.

There are always rules to learn, so we are going to tackle part one of the "To Hit" Rules.

Good evening starshells
This night will be long, You are so illuminating, What could possilbly go wrong?

SMC or an, Armor Leader need to roll, a 4 or less you know.
CE AFV Crew, or an MMC, need a 2 or less, yo.
Think those IR mortars, they'll do a good jobba
Slinging starshells all night long.

Good evening starshells
There's no moon in the skies. The NVR's one tonight, where's all those bad guys?

SMC or an, Armor Leader need to roll, a 4 or less you know.
The SMC's told us, fire some and make sure you roll really low, low.
Think those IR mortars, they'll do a good jobba
Slinging starshells all night long.

Can you hear me praying for a, a star shell, What could go wrong?
All night long, shell thing, shell, shell, shell, slinging, sling, fling, shoot a shell.

Yeah we can sling fling, sling, some sling a shell.  Fling, sling, some, fire off, something.

  2. Great job on the song! I really enjoyed it. Nothing to add but some errata:

Change "Starshell's" in lines 8, 9 and 14 to "Starshells".

    Keep 'em coming!

  4. Classic episode, especially the rules, though the bagpipes hurt my ears a bit. Keep it coming with the Australian content! Thanks!
