Episode 151: What's Up With That?

We are ever so grateful to welcome back Zach and Rich to the Broadcast Foxhole to continue the second part of the boat scenario series. So once again you'll want to batten down the hatches, and get everything in ship-shape and Bristol fashion before you settle in to have a listen. After a little chit-chat we discuss Special Ops #6 Summer 2015 and discover what ASL stuff you might find in there. ASL Action Pack #11 is reviewed and the components discussed. There are four scenarios covered, but the bulk of the discussion goes to U36 Operation Switchback, U37 Scheldt Fortress South and U38 Clearing the Breskens Pocket. Grab a paddle so you don't end up a creek without one.

  1. Hello! I just wanted to say that I really REALLY enjoyed the detailed analysis lately of scenarios by Rich Splilkey and Mr. Deminimus. They do a great job presenting them in a way that I can follow even without visual aids. Though I'm sure the photo's will be great to look at them. I love the 'What have you been playing lately?' segment (especially the wonderful varieties of intro music) but sometimes the lack of detail leaves me longing for more. It would be GREAT to have this more detailed analysis/playback become a regular segment!

  2. On another note... Someone needs to get Rich to turn his bounty of tables into something like the LFT Rat Pack charts... If it was more manageable and wieldy it would become a go to playaid. Right now it's just hard to handle them... A little production and I'm sure they would sell like hot cakes. Perhaps a joint venture with the 2 Half Squads? It might just be the ticket to get onto that damn Desperation Morale site!

  4. The 302nd infantry division gag is hilarious. It almost caused a car accident the first time I listened to it.
The detailed AAR by Rich and Zac is exceptional. I could mentally create an image of battlefield in my mind without referring to a map and enjoyed it thoroughly. Good job!

  6. Hi guys, thanks for another enjoyable episode! Zack and Rich certainly add value to the show - the bar is set pretty high as it is. You guys have a good rapport and it shows.
Zack, a monster you have created with the Deminimus thing. I think you should run with it and form the 2 2HS singers/rappers and do a few ASL parodies. Your handles could be De Minimus, De Bris, De Luxe and De Ploy. Or something.
Keep up De Good Work. I am looking forward to the next show, hopefully with more guests!
